The Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA) is a study abroad/study away program that works with many different universities. I will be taking HECUA's Minneapolis program Art for Social Change: Intersections of Art, Identity, and Advocacy this coming Spring semester (2018). This program consists of two courses and an internship. The courses and internship will revolve around using art to create social change in the community, using a variety of learning techniques such as readings and collaborative art projects with artists in the community. Much of my experience and learning for my concentration will come from this program. This page will continue to be updated as I move through the program and after I finish. Check back for exciting updates and projects!
